[Solved] I had my phone set to the high (5Ghz band) and the information for the MAC address does come up in the settings while connected to the low (2.4 Ghz) side of the router connection within the "Network" section of the app.
I'm trying to set up a series of repeaters without having to get the Starlink version. I have several old routers with both 2.4 and 5 GHz capabilities that will allow me to set them up as repeaters, if I can give the MAC address of the router as a base. All they would do is take whatever the base, the router, sends out and repeat it, that's it. To be able to do this I need the MAC address of the base unit but I can't find a way to sniff it out and it's not listed on the outside of the router. There are several net tools I have in terminal that give out IP addresses of the local machines on the network, but none of them that I see let me see the MAC address of the devices, especially with the satellite dish, the point of entry, and the router all in one like this one is. I do have the ethernet connection adapter in line with the router to put in a mesh network later if this don't work. I was hoping with a hard connection into the router I should be able to at least get the MAC address if nothing else, even if it won't allow me to change any of the settings. I should be able to find some way to get the address some how. From the http://dishy.starlink.com/ web connection I see the IP addresses of the devices on the network, but that's it. The admin, 192.168.1.1, only brings up the Starlink logo and won't go any further into the setup. I'm using Linux Mint 21.1 Vera.
Also, for some reason my app says the router is disconnected, but everything seems to work great, I just need to extend the range on a budget.
