I have had horrible service from all ISP's in the Dumaguete area. I am trying to get better service to my US services that do not have the latency the PLDT has provided as upstream provider. What block of IP addresses will i like get an assignment out of for my local terminal? Is the service carried from the satellites to a Local POP in the PI where it joins the public network? or does Starlink Carry the traffic in its own fiber back to a less congested peering point for US traffic? Will i have severe packet loss like i have via PLDT ( i assume much of my packet loss from PLDT is from inadequate facilities from Dumaguete to Manilla now)? Could someone provide me a traceroute from any rural area of the PI to any major US site ie www.ucla.edu so i can see what the path looks like?
