I've been thrilled with starlink since getting it and used to routinely see speeds well over 20mbps all hours and upwards of 100mbps during off hours. I can get old school ADSL in my area and would see a stable ~7mbps. Unfortunately, for my job w/ our new covid/post covid policies, ADSL was not good enough as the company consolidated offices during/since covid and now requires me to wfh via video conference. Starlink has been a godsend as it has allowed me to keep my job and not have to relocate. Lately I've been getting less than 10mbps in the evenings and starting to get worried.
Thoughts? Hoping V2 will fix some of this soon.
[EDIT] Thanks for the fixed wireless/LTE suggestions. Unfortunately, I'm in a valley and would need to install a tower. I can do this if push comes to shove, but I'm just imagining the nightmare of doing all this properly and then dealing with the eventual lightening strike or similar.
