I've got some questions

If you had 2 identical SR's (ie. SR Miho from the Usamin event), would it be better to have two level 70 maxed idolized SR's, or to have one at Star Level 2?
Also is there any reason to keep a copy of a unit with a lower rarity? For example, I already have an SSR Miku, is there any reason for me to keep her R version once idolized/star jewels claimed?
EDIT: Also, how does the stats in this game work? From what I can see, there are 3 types - Vocal, Dance and Visual. Do these matter at the current point of time? I've mostly just been picking units off the total points.
