Ah, I remember the guy who gives that mission. Seemed like it was headed in that kinda direction so I declined his offer lol

I was so surprised by the alien when I opened the airlock that I killed it, which failed the mission because the bounty was supposed to be taken alive
I assume knocking it out with an EM gun would've successfully completed the contract, as weird as that is

Me neither! There were some data slates in the area that implied it was a native species that hadn't been researched very much.
It was a unique POI that seemed to be set up to always be in this state, so it's odd that a bounty was assigned there
