If youâre enjoying the game in its current state carry on you beautiful person.
The game isnât bad, it isnât buggy, it isnât unplayable.
It is missing a few things that are totally fixable, and I have faith they will be addressed.
The gameplay loop needs tweaking, personally I really enjoy space travel waaay more than I do planetary exploration. It feels more rewarding and the space stations feel less procedural generated.
Planetside content needs to be expanded a bit, more varied POIâs, a better way to travel would be nice, something like a buggy or a hovercraft could be implemented I think. But the big thing is making the trees bigger, weird I know but I hate landing in a coniferous forest, and the pine trees are only like 20ft tall. I want those big and majestic pines from Skyrim, I want to feel like Iâm on an alien planet, rather than earth 2 with alien animals.
Another thing that I think would make planetary exploration more fun would be water based exploration, in a submersible looking for those pesky fish to complete your scan of the planets fauna.
These vehicles could be added via âbaysâ that you can purchase and add to your ship, or âgaragesâ you have in your outposts.
Anyway chill with the doomerism, all is not lost, if they made 76 fun they can fix Starfield.
