Mods are not devs. Forcing mods to fix your problems is bad. Also Mods disable achievements. I have like zero achievements in Skyrim, because I always download some UI mod to make life better.
You can't deny this game is similar to NMS. Its like the devs looked at NMS and said 'challenge accepted." I played NMS to the end. This game is much better in so many ways.
One thing that bugged the crap out of me in NMS is that you start with a small base, a fighter, etc. You build up to a freighter (mobile base) and a fleet. You still have to run around and fix the toilets. As the CEO of Galactic Corp, I want to be doing MANAGEMENT. I stopped sending the ships on fleet missions because I didn't want to do repairs. A capitol ship and 10 other ships are all just eye candy.
I always look for the game to evolve when you get to endgame. If I build a bunch of bases, for example, do I always have to respond to every base attack or could I contract with security forces to respond? The end game should be maintaining the relationship with security forces or some such politics.
Just my thoughts so far.
