I am trying to get all of my powers to X. I am on either NG 4 or 5, not sure which, as I see no way to discern. In theory, having space suit Tenebris is the indicator, as I know my ship isn’t. My ship is the IV, but I know one of my NG playthroughs gave me the same ship a second time, so I think I am on NG 5.

Anyway, totally not the point. In theory, a person would be able to max all powers by NG 10. However, there seems to always be more temples in any given playthrough than artifacts. I currently have 7 undiscovered temples, but only five powers not where they should be, rank wise. My first playthrough would not give me Parallel Self or Supernova, so both of those should be IV, while most of my others are V, but even then, Parallel Self is VI (I did Barret’s quest in one NG ), and Life Forced is VI, as I got it from two different temples in two different playthroughs.

Two questions. Are there more temples in each playthrough than there are artifacts? And if so, how do you locate the extra temples? I am pretty sure Vlad never goes above 24. Are some powers just going to skip levels, so everything ends up at X by NG 10? Are there actually any rules? Is this game simply madness?
