Will cloud saves from game pass be accessible once I get a new console?

I apologize in advance if this is an obvious answer, this is my first time playing on cloud streaming. I currently have an Xbox one x and wanted to try out starfield before committing to buying an x/s console. I decided to order a series s this morning and just wanted to double check that my save data on the cloud would transfer once I downloaded an actual copy of the game. Thanks!
