Eye of the Storm Soft Lock

So while trying to complete Eye of The Storm I died on my way back to my ship due to being encumbered. When my save file loaded I returned to my ship and off loaded enough items to be unencumbered again. Upon my return to control center and starting the download again the game soft locked itself and the download is no longer taking place(see video). I was wondering if anyone else has encountered this and if I completely have to restart the mission.
