Lost Moara Otero He just disappeared

So I got a new ship on a certain misson. It only had spots for two crew members. I had sara and heller also on board my ship. When I switch. Moara didn't make it. I've looked at my crew list. Not there. I looked for the lost companion quest. Hasent showed up. I went back to Mars to see if he was there nope. It's like the game deleted him out of existence when I switched ships. If anyone has any ideas how to resolve this that would be great. And I've played to much to restart.
