Crimson fleet vs uc

Ok so ive gotten to the final fight. I keep getting my ass absolutely kicked. If i fly with the crimson fleet somehow the vigilance just picks me out and beams me everytime. I cant even fight any other ships because im trying to avoid getting obliterated by the vigilance. Is there a try im missing?
