I know no one asked but! Based on this first chapter I’m thinking Dragona would probably call themselves a woman/trans woman. They are super defensive of Jodio, and seem to be at least a little non confrontational, and since Jodio is “just a kid” in Dragona’s words, they might not even mind him misgendering or just not fully understanding their identity. Since Jodio is our narrator he obviously describes Dragona as his “bro,” even if that might not be what she calls herself. Regardless, there’s no super strong evidence one way or another, and I really dig Dragona as a character and as a AMAB gender non conforming / non-binary / trans character. I know Araki loves general androgyny but Dragona feels special so I’m interested to see how it plays out.
