Hi all,
I'm in year two & had the cut scene with Lewis about the field across the East bridge. I am playing Grandpa's farm & I'm really enjoying it. It's cozy & comfortable & just the right size for me. I don't go all out in SDV & try to fill every space, with crops & whatnot. I'm not one of those people who tries to make massive amounts of money either. That's just not my playstyle. So I really don't know what, if anything, I should do with that field. What do you guys do with it?
I’m not the first to suggest it but because it was so far away, I used it as a place for honey. Set up a few sprinklers and visit on the first of each month to plant some flowers, and leave it to collect with automate.
Of course you could use it as a place to decorate, but that’s not my forte.
I’ve also considered using it as a tree farm or to grow something that takes a while- like ancient fruits. But it’s really up to you! The orchard idea from someone else in the thread also sounds pretty cool!

That sounds pretty good! I guess it also depends on your play style and where you are in the game- whether you’re trying to min-max things or you’re just having a casual play through.
