Is there a way to restart a farm but keep everything else?

Is there a way (in game or a mod, anything) to restart a farm (remove everything from it in some way) while keeping the town progress etc.? I'd love to build my farm from scratch with a better layout and different buildings, but I do not want to lose ~200 hours of progress with items, quests and relationships. Any help or advice would be appreciated, thank you.
