Now, Anyone who can check my post history knows that I've offered a couple comments on how to do Skull Cavern.

However, In my ps4 playthrough, I'm finding it nearly impossible to make any meaningful progress, or even useful progress. Long story short, I've spent over 200k on Omni Geodes just to get iridium for my tools.

I've done the pam speed glitch, tons of coffee, tons of bombs, best luck days, the only thing I haven't been able to make use of is luck food, primarily cause I can't seem to find it anywhere and can't craft it yet.

I've tried a good, purple star skull cavern run twice and it gave me absolutely nothing worthwhile.

No shafts, rarely ever a ladder, and very few ores period.

Am I just following the guides wrong or is it just shitty RNG? Now I remember why I gave up getting iridium tools.

Also, on an unrelated note, is the secret notes even a thing on ps4? I don't remeber getting the magnifying glass event in my first winter, but I'm headed into my second winter.
