Wild Honey from Bee House Near a Flower?

Post Body

I apologize if this has already been addressed but I couldn't find any related topic from a quick search.

A bee house's flower range is supposedly 5 tiles horizontally and 4 tiles vertically away from it. However, there are two spots in my arrangement that should be within that range but still does not produce flavored honey. Why is this so? http://i.imgur.com/Wn6LZ5s.png

Yes, the flowers aren't fully matured in the image but during the previous two seasons, I get wild honey from the spots I encircled red despite getting flavored honey from all other bee houses.

I'm puzzled since the bee houses to the right of the encircled spots still produce flavored honey and these houses are equally far away from the flower as the ones that don't get flavored.

I've tried switching bee house positions and the same two spots got wild honey regardless of which bee houses were used so the problem is the tiles, not the houses.

Is there something I'm not aware of?
