A tip I never see mentioned (combat related)
Post Body

I know a lot of people hate fighting the flying enemies, so if you’re one of those people, keep reading.

After 700 hours in this game you start to notice little things. One of those things that I personally noticed is that fighting flying enemies (serpents, bats, ghosts, lava sprites) is a LOT easier if you fight them facing upwards on the screen. It’s kinda hard to explain in words, so let me clarify: the enemy is coming at you from the north and you’re facing north. Just walk around and maneuver them into that position. For some reason it’s a lot easier to land a hit that way. Idk why it works, it just does (probably some technical reason having to do with the hit box). Try it out!

If you’ve noticed anything else like this, feel free to share!

Interesting! So that’s why it works, in your opinion?

Same. It works especially well with espresso bc you’re fast af boiiiiii. Lol. I started doing this after I got comfortable with combat though.

Yea I almost added that tidbit to this post. I think their hit box is either larger or offset a bit
