Some info
Post Body

Recently I was able to go to a Star Wars Marketing Presentation by Disney where they discussed all things Star Wars for 2019. It was mostly focused on marketing but they talked about all the different projects and showed a ton of images and concept art. I realize I'm just some anonymous person on the internet so take all of this information for what it's worth but I just wanted to share. Also, I'm not exactly sure what info has already been made public so some of this may already be known. Furthermore, I didn't take notes and I'm going off of memory so I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot of stuff. Anyway, here you go:

The overall theme of their marketing will be focused on the legacy characters and really re-introducing them to the younger generation of fans.

Galaxy's Edge: They talked at length about the new theme park attraction and showed a ton of design artwork and even a fly over of the whole park. The most interesting thing here was the new ride featuring the Falcon. The mentioned it will be a 6 person interactive ride where each person plays a role including Pilot, Co-Pilot, manning the turret gun, ship repair, etc. Seemed really cool and immersive. Beyond that it was just a lot of talk about how big the park was and the various characters you would come across as you walk through it. They also mentioned and showed pics of the new hotel as well which looked pretty cool.

Galaxy of Adventures: Looks like this info was just announced, so no real new info here. They said it was 30 or so animated shorts that are 1-2 minutes long. This is key in re-introducing the old characters to the younger fans.

Fallen Order Videogame: They said this is coming out in November. It takes place about 5 years after Revenge of the Sith and follows the main character whose name is Cal (I forget his last name). He's was a paduwan that survived the efforts to kill all of the remaining jedi. Not a ton of gameplay info but some of the other story lines are that he has a mentor figure who is a woman named Ceres. The only other thing I remember is them talking about other characters they would come across from some of the comics. The mentioned the 9th sister and 2nd sister? Something about Inquisitors? I wish I could remember more about this. They showed a ton of artwork.

The Mandalorian: They showed a sizzle reel of Jon Favreau talking about how he's excited because they have delved into some of the EU for this series. They also talkied about the different directors as well. The main thing I remember here is that the central plot revolves around the main character and a baby. I guess the Mandalorian encounters a baby on one of his missions that he is supposed to kill, but instead of that, he ends up saving it and a lot of the rest of the story revolves around their growing relationship and his efforts to keep the child safe and protected. They showed a ton of artwork and stills. They spent a decent amount of time talking about the Mandalorian's armor and how it goes through changes and upgrades. They mentioned the large woman character who is some sort of Chief of theirs? I don't remember her name or whether she was a villain or not. They also talked a lot about different planets and terrains but I don't remember too many specific details.

Episode 9: So plot info was pretty much non-existent here. They only mentioned that it takes place about a year after TLJ. They talked about the culmination of the movie being a battle between Rey and Kylo. The did show a ton or artwork of planets and characters. The said Kylo has his helmet back and that it has been put back together with some kind of red adhesive. It looked kinda cool with the red lines going through it. They also talked about Rey's lightsaber and how it's back and has been reforged. They said the reforge is not shown on screen. There's a new droid. It's name is Dio and it's sort of a sidekick to BB8. It's little and has sort of a cone shaped head, kind of like a megaphone shape if you can picture it. Beyond that it was just a lot of artwork and toy packaging. They mentioned various new planet terrains but the only one I remember was some kind of Jungle planet.

Anyway, I wish I could remember more details but this was a little while ago and I just found this subreddit recently.
