Does using multiple boarding shuttles on one target increase your chances of a successful boarding or does it remain the same?

Playing as the New Republic in Thrawns Revenge and I absolutely love yoinking ships from other factions, so much so that my main fleet has two boarding shuttles that I primarily use to try and capture big ships. However I can’t really tell if using two at the same time is making much of a difference or if using a second one just cancels the first attempt.
