FOC spam fleets are killing me...

Decided to play vanilla FOC galactic conquest as the rebels... I’ll leave the cheapness of ZC alone for the moment, but the empires spam fleets are killing me. Even though they have less than half a dozen planets, I get hit with fleets of 10-12 VSDs and 6-8 interdictors every 2-3 minutes of gametime. I had six of these fleets hit me in a row last night, and while each is fought off with close to zero losses, it’s a total timesuck. Urg...
