Leia as a Jedi

Is anybody annoyed how during the 90s Zahn was very adamant on making Leia a Jedi but every other just took her in the opposite direction. Like for example in Hand of Thrawn Leia does some impressive feats as a Jedi and is constantly referred as a Jedi Knight but then in Young Jedi Knights it feels like she hasn’t touch a lightsaber or the Force since The Thrawn Trilogy.
