Hey all!
After watching The Last Jedi, Star Wars Rebels Season 1-2 and re-reading "Vader Down", I had a hankering for a old Star Wars comic from the Expanded universe days.
I'm 80% sure its Dark Horse Comics. It was pretty good art. I know they were published as either graphic novels or limited series.
It was set thousands of years before Episode 4, so it didn't have any of the usual players. I remember it had the main character of a scondral / villain who eventually becomes a jedi. I think he had long brown hair to start, then short hair after he turned to the light.
The image that really stuck with me was the ancient lightsabers, which looked very organic. There was one big splash page with a whole pile of them underneath an ancient tree. It was a plot point, I think.
Um, that's the extent of it. Any help would be appreciated.
"The Force Be With you" "And Also With You" "Let us lift up our sabers" "We Lift them up to the Force"
