Of course! Why wouldnât there be? Iâm seeing a lot of people taken aback by the existence of a ânormalâ looking environment. But I think thatâs the point.
From what the trailer shows us, our heroes are a group of young kids living in a boring town and wishing for adventure. If they lived in any other type of community weâve previously seen in Star Wars theyâd be surrounded by adventure on a daily basis.
In a galaxy filled with countless planets, one of them was bound to have suburbs.
âAlienâ kiddo speaking basicâŚwhy not? If they were raised on that planet why wouldnât they be able speak and understand basic? Or maybe they have technology that allows translation.
Edit: cute little youngling is not identified as Ortolan.
This criticism reminds me of the âAndor has screws and bricksâ some jabaroni said to discredit the show.
