Seeing as how the new show takes place 100 years before TPM that would mean Yoda is a member of the Jedi Order and around 800 years old. Yaddle was recently featured in TOTJ and the renewed interest in the character might lead to their inclusion in this as well.

I’m curious what role these elder characters might play and if they were hiding the presence of the Sith or if maybe it was hidden from them.

Would be wierd if he is not in it.. I mean, he is (accordning to lore) Grand Master of the Jedi Counsel at that time. And the show is about a bunch of Jedi being murdered.. so he should play some role in it!
