The ones of mortis seem clear in their symbolism but the father's confuses me. The son and daughter represent the light and the dark side and the father is apparently "balence" but isnt the light side true balence? From what i can tell the dark side itself exists unnaturally and is like a cancer on the force itself. Doesnt the father's existance defy this notition by implying its needed for balence to be reached?
There is also the bendu from rebels with similar ideals but i think the show made it clear that his idea of balence was not true and is just stuck-up, defeatist, fencesitting. His view of the force is shown clearly to be blanantly false right?
So whats the deal with the father, he seems wise and not really made out as a villian right? What does he represent?
On another note what about meridith from fallen order and her use of magik. She seems good but isnt the nightsiser magik drawn from the dark side? If dark side is objectively bad how is she able to use it without it corrupting her. The other nightsisters seem fairly sinister but it never sat right with me of her freely using her magik for good if its drawn from the dark side of the force?
