Imagine a sitcom with ten or fourteen episodes showing two weeks of lando calrissian on a crazy bender going from casino to strip club to mafia back rooms to politician’s party houses. Kind of a Campy comedy feel to the whole show, no major plot points related to canon, just crazy ass drinking stories from back in the wild years. Childish gambino would be perfect. It would be a great chance to show off the wild underworld full of hundreds of kinds of aliens and drugs and musics and exotic creatures and ship designs, and an extended trip to live action dathomir but it wouldn’t have to do much except add sitcom vibes within a group of shows that goes from moralizing drama to campy filler to top notch world building and action sequences. It could be part shameless, part fear and loathing in Las Vegas, part hangover, part friends, and mostly still Star Wars.
