I think the prison Cassian is transported to seems pretty similar to the organization in Squid Game. He gets there, and is first able to see the conductors and even one of his work mates notes that they’re laughing up stairs, they enjoy the game and seeing them suffer. then he’s introduced to his group of workers within the room and the work presented to him is set as a game. They compete (in groups) against each other (like the tug of war episode in squid game) but in groups the groups are independent so it’s more synonymous to everybody against everybody, with the ability to forge partnerships. Then of course there’s the old guy. Old guy in prison in game in star wars, old guy in game imprisoned, Squid game!!!! Idk, are the similarities enough to be evident in comparison? thoughts?
