In Episodes 6 and 7, Sabine avoids telling Ezra how she reached him, and that she provided Thrawn a means back into the main galaxy. The dialogue is contrived and unconvincing, as Ezra just accepts that it's "complicated" - as if he wouldn't be keen as heck to know how Sabine travelled to another galaxy and how she plans to him home. I took this as the writers wanting to hold off for a big reveal in Episode 8. It feels forced but oh well, it'll be resolved. Then episode 8 and ... Ezra sees the hyperdrive docking ring ... no questions about where it came from ... no moment of realization where Sabine tells him the truth ... I couldn't figure out if we were meant to assume that Sabine told him off screen? Or does he still not know and the writers are forcing this dramatic irony into season 2?! Did I miss something? I went back through episodes 7 and 8 to see if I'd missed a scene. Enjoyed the show a lot but this part seemed really weak writing to me!
