With all the love we have been giving Hayden Christensen, which is so deserved, I think we also need to recognize someone else: the other Anakin Skywalker actor, Jake Lloyd. I don’t know much about his personal struggles as a result of the severe bullying he went through to due the reception of the prequels, but I do know it basically halted his career and ruined his life.

We have been able to show what this fandom and community can be with how excited we are for Kenobi, so let’s spread a little bit of that positivity to someone else who could use it.

If someone more knowledgeable than me on his struggles could highlight them for people to understand what he went through, please do.

Another note: It’s way over-due, and possibly even to late for Mr. Lloyd, so let’s also have it be a lesson. I am not a fan of the sequels, but let’s not blame the actors. Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, and all the others do not deserve our scorn just because we did not enjoy the final product.
