I think at some point, maybe after Thrawn's campaign, the New Republic storyline could benefit from a time jump.

The shows are in around 9-10 ABY by now, if there is a, let’s say, 10 year time jump, a lot can be explored. Luke's Jedi Temple will already have a few students (including a 15yo Ben Solo), and Luke himself could be played by Mark Hamill alone with a lot less CGI and deepfake. Talking about Jedi, Jacen Syndulla would around 20, and could be a padawan to an older Ezra (or even part of Luke's temple).

By around 21 ABY, the First Order is formed, meaning we could actually see the transition of Imperial Remnants to the new government. Snoke would already be around too, so he could get involved in the current storyline.

Mando could be retired, Grogu would be a little older (maybe even talking?), Mandalore and Boba's criminal empire would have grown a lot, etc.
