George Lucas put no thought whatsoever into the Prequel trilogy and it baffles me how people like them.

Post Body

There are no stakes whatsoever in any of the three movies. In Revenge of the Sith, it is revealed that Palpatine is ultimately controlling both armies, those being the Clones/Republic and the Droids/Separatists. It makes the entire war completwly meaningless and pointless. And not only that, both armies are completely disposable and renewable. If you run out of Clones or droids, you can just make more. It completely removes any emotional attachment or care at all. It took Dave Filoni and The Clone Wars animated series to actually give the Clones and droids their own actual personalities, thoughts and feelings. Before watching that awesome show, I couldn't have given two shits about the prequels at all. With the Original Trilogy, you knew that each and every Stormtrooper and Rebel soldier was a real person with a family. You never got that with the Clones/droids.
