For context, I and my friend went to AMC 24 in PA for our showing.
I had gotten tickets and was looking forward to seeing the show at 8. We had a good time hanging with other fans in line and were excited to see the show. Finally the line begins to move and suddenly they cut the line off and tell the remaining 2/3 of all the people who showeed uo to go home the seats were full. The fuck? They overbooked by 3x and sent the remaining people home. Some people drove 1 to 2 hours to be there. Zero respect for the people who took the time out if their night to be there and celebrate.
Come to find out this happened at other theaters as well! A ton of peoples nights were ruined last night with absolutely no apology. Completely unacceptable.
