So I was doing some work with a Steamrunner for some writing projects, and as I was going through the deck plans (https://www.cygnus-x1.net/links/lcars/sd-steamrunner.php#google_vignette), I discovered that the Steamrunner has a “forward fighter bay” on decks 5-6. This hasn’t been referenced either on screen or referenced in videos on the steamrunner (from what I’ve seen).

I was wondering (if there are any other steamrunner-class fans here), have you found a way to I guess rationalize a “fast frigate”/“torpedo cruiser” having a fighter bay, or even figuring where fighters could launch from, because a fighter doesn’t seem to fit through the shuttlebay doors (which is apparently directly in front of fighter bay 1).

Basically, has anyone done any delving here or is this just an instance of “deck plans are a little fudged, just keep fudging it”?
