Michael + Book was the love story I needed to believe in Discovery's casting again.

The Michael Ash ship nearly put me off the show entirely. It was like a rock in my shoe for two entire seasons.
I am SO stoked that Michael finally has a love interest that is believable and that I can root for- the two of them seem to have great chemistry and there is zero bad vibes between them (just one Grudge). It was allowed to just be a beautiful, supportive, feel-good romantic storyline and I'm here for it. I'm sure there will be conflict next season, but it was a great breather.
