One of the appeals to Netflix was their approach to the formula of run time. An episode of House of Cards would only be the length needed to tell the story. I wish they would take this approach with the stand alone comedy specials. So many specials in 2019 were poor because they were fluffed up and watered down versions of good 20-40 minute sets. The Degenerates Season 2 has the right idea. Jim Norton and Adrienne Iapalucci have perfect sets that come in under 20 min.
