I've been taping a lot of my sets recently, working on body language and timing, which is improving loads, but what I have been completely at a loss to fix is my actual voice's sound. It's low, which isn't a problem, but it's also kind of thick and the enunciation is way worse than it sounds in my head. I can harden consonants and project more, but this sort of rounded edge to my words has been impossible to get a handle on. It kind of sounds like my nose is always stuffy.
Fuck, I was just looking at random videos to see if there's anyone I sound like, and it's like Bane without the accent. That is not a good voice.
Any tips?
