Should I get an Autonomous SmartDesk Core despite negative reviews?

Post Body

From the reviews I have looked at, many people have said the Autonomous desks are terrible quality, while many others have had positive experiences. How can people have such different experiences with the same exact product? And what does it mean for me as a buyer? I looked at the SmartDesk 2 my friend has had for over a year, and he likes it and it seemed decent enough to me. In addition, Autonomous seems to no longer sell the SmartDesk 2 and SmartDesk 2 Premium, and have replaced them with SmartDesk Core and SmartDesk Pro. I'm thinking about getting the SmartDesk Core, but the only thing holding me back are the negative reviews that say I should get an UpLift or something else. Should I just get the SmartDesk Core?
