Post Body

Forgive me for the boring post. I've been sorting through a ton of information, including BTOD's "WobbleMeter" tests, and I don't know which way is up anymore (no pun intended). I'm wondering how severe the wobble issues with these desks really are, or if they're being overstated for the sake of journalism. I also wonder if the difference between them is actually significant, or ultimately negligible.

Height-wise, I'm on the shorter end of normal/average (in other words, I won't be using the desk at/near max height), and in all honesty, I'll probably be sitting at my desk more than I'll be standing at it.

I was looking at getting either a Fully Jarvis, or an Uplift V2. The Uplift V2 scores better on wobble but doesn't score as high in other places, like electronics. The Uplift V2 is about $50 more than the Fully Jarvis (not a lot of money, in the grand scheme of things), but I wonder if the better wobble score is worth that extra $50.

Then, there's the Uplift V2 Commercial, which scores significantly better on wobble. Of course, that's thanks to the cross support, and of course, that will set you back an additional $100, on top of the price of the Uplift V2. I'm just wondering, for my needs, what's really necessary, and what's really worth it. Does the cross support get in the way, while you're sitting at the desk? The desk I'm using right now (which is not a standing desk) wobbles like jello, so that's why I'm being so sensitive about it. Thanks in advance.
