Okay, background. Years ago, a now "ex" friend (since I found the following out) and I reconnected on a dating app after them previously being employed by my then agency. We never had a relationship, but we flirted a LOT, sending lewd photos to each other and what-not, over the period of a year or so. Later on, when we decided we weren't going anywhere, we remained good friends (or so I thought). As time went by they kept insisting that I was "obsessed" with them because I asked them about potential hangings-out before running it by "the rest of the group."
(IMPORTANT: Group-Dynamics note here: this individual was the center of our social circle, literally EVERYTHING anyone wanted to do "together" had to be run by them anyways. Like if I messaged someone that wasn't them the answer was ALWAYS "Ask XXXXX"- which is when I just started bypassing this pointless group chat we had going on)
ANWYAYS, things were well and cool up until literally two weekends ago, when I found out they had (most likely) GAINED ACCESS TO MY PC when "the group" was over for a cook-out, without my permission and started digging around into various sub-directories, finding an ancient and untouched subdirectory I had of the photos they SENT ME (literally, I forgot this even existed - I have a LOT of junk on my computer - I haven't done any "spring cleaning" in YEARS) that I had saved when we were still going back and forth. Next thing I know they had sent (not even a screen cap, but a photo they took on their cellphone of my computer monitor of the location of the subdirectory) accusing me of "being a pervert," (because I had some old photos I had forgotten about) to not only a few of my friends, BUT MY OWN MOTHER. (Everyone I've talked to thinks this was a MASSIVE violation of privacy, and I'm leaning that way myself because it's no different than rummaging through someone else's diary without their permission)
So this meant they snuck into my room at some point, accessed my computer without my authorization, and then went digging around. Literally anything they "found" was something they had given me and I had since forgot about. This individual has done some rather suss stuff in the past, like digging up my old profile on another dating site, one that I had NEVER contacted them on, trying to "prove" I was a creep, and literally gaslight me into "confessing" things like "I'm still obsessed with them." They've also done shit quite frequently like screencap and record conversations with other "ex-friends" of theirs in attempts to make them look bad.
WHO DOES THIS?!
