Has anyone dealt with issues receiving unblemished cookware??
Either they have some issues with quality control or I’m just unlucky.
Received a 6 quart pot as a Christmas gift, and noticed it had two small dents/pits on the inside on the cooking surface. I waffled for about a month before I decided to issue a return/exchange because for $200, I would think the pot should come without noticeable defects.
The replacement they sent would have been pristine, except it was damaged in shipping, with a dent on the bottom of the pot (which pushes into the side of the pot).
When I contacted the company to let them know, they were very generous and said keep that pot, either donate or regift, we will send you a third replacement. The 3rd came today, and on the cooking surface there are two small metal protrusions. Sigh.
I realize these may not actually affect cooking, but the metal protrusions freak me out a little bit because I think about a small piece of metal breaking off into my food. I’m just shocked that the quality is so inconsistent. I read someone on here say something to the effect of, “for a pan at that price point I’d like to be the one to put the first dent on it”… I guess I just expect that if you’re spending $200 on a pot it should come looking like a $200 pot.
