My response was... Well, we went nearly a year with out having sex. There's a long story there, but basically in a desperate attempt to find happiness, we laid all our chips on the table and through brutal honesty and several days of nonstop conversation, we realized that we wanted many of the same things, we just didn't really know how to communicate our wants and needs before. We just expected the other person to know. We are more in love and lust at 48 than we were when we got married at 18. My advice. Total honesty and nothing is too small. If something bothers you in the least little bit, talk it out. Don't let that shit build. It's not enough to strive to not go to bed angry. You have to strive to go to bed in love. ❤
