How do we decline people’s offers?

Just quick question as we’re still new to chatting and looking for partners online, when we make a post looking for a partner we tend to be somewhat specific that we’re looking for a certain age range and we’ll have plenty of people reach out but lots don’t fit our criteria’s or my girlfriend simply doesn’t find them physically attractive.
Is it better to reply and specify we’re not interested or to just not respond at all?
How do we turn down an offer if once pictures are exchanged my girlfriend doesn’t find the other person attractive?
I want to show nothing but respect to people while staying within my girlfriends comfort zone, we’ve had success but lots of failures and I’m just unsure what to do when turning down people.
