So, I'm not a drug dealer, I'm just observant. Over the past couple of years of I've been following the social media accounts of several drug dealers that live and operate within the boundaries of Saint Charles County Missouri. It's a weird and strange story of how I got into this. Anyway.
Most of the dealers in the county are young, teens who want to play gangster, and they play that role well. Because of the youthfulness of these thugs, the majority of them do not operate withing the confinements of permanent residence like in other area's near by. So in Saint Louis, where depending on the area/ gang, the dealers typically take up street corners, abandoned homes, as well as mobile solicitation. Saint Louis is about as lawless as it gets during the after hours, not enough resources and to much volume. Saint Charles on the other hand is like a promise land compared to it's neighbor just across the river, at least that's what everyone believes. The law enforcement agencies in the area do a really good job at suppressing information that would damage tax revenue and appearance.
The thugs in SC operate mainly out of two modes, Hotels and Cars. Specifically Red Roof Inn, Econolodge and other motels. The Red Roof Inn on Zumbehl specifically is home to a few, it's location is perfect right off of 70 and near 94. In fact there is a dealer who resides there by the name of Jo-Jo, a kid whose about 17, has crazy hair and you will see him at the Taco Bell and Hardees across the street. Part of the reason the dealers choose these hotels is simple, they take cash for a weeks rent and don't ask questions.
The other mode is a car, could be anybody. Typically the dealers are borrowing some else's car in exchange for dope. By using another persons car they are less likely to be followed. Changing cars daily to avoid detection.
They communicate via snapchat and instagram. Snapchat is more prevalent because the photo or message deletes itself after a period of time however there are other social media platforms that aid their ventures.
Even though the majority of these thugs are young, with inability to stay in one location they are primed for a reasonable success of stealth from investigators.
Because these thugs are hard to catch, the cops are even harder on them when they catch'em. Try to make an example out them by either railroading them or giving them extended charges, and even trumping up charges and falsely charging them. The LEO community in SC is devoted to making this place look like a suburban paradise.
