Tony Nese was released by WWE, and we confirmed last week he had a 90-day non-compete. When speaking to Wrestling Perspective, he confirmed he's already had some discussions with indie companies about coming in. Perhaps the most interesting topic is that Nese was told he wasn't going to be hired after his original WWE tryout because he was "short and white," and that wasn't what they were looking for at the time, according to Nese.
He also mentioned he found out about his Cruiserweight Title win the day of WrestleMania.
The full interview will air Friday on Youtube and Twitch.
