I had skipped watching the last few weeks of Raw and SmackDown, so not sure when this actually started. When I threw SmackDown on today the first thing that drew my attention was the fake piped in crowd noise.

The NXT "fans" weren't very good to begin with compared to what I feel aew did with empty arena wrestling. However at least they were there and actually making noise.

It almost becomes too distracting to watch hearing every fake ohhh and ahhh after a move. In comparison I also watched a qualifying round game for the NHL last night, and they also have fake noise in on the broadcast. However that was just steady enough and quite enough where it felt real and didn't annoy the hell out of me.
