Why does WWE edit replays the way they do?
Post Body

So I've recently gotten back into wrestling after a 20 year hiatus and started watching AEW and in turn RAW/Smackdown. Whenever a replay of spots are shown from past weeks/events you see the setup, then like pause with sound overlay, then the outcome (maybe a still image). Sometimes for pins they don't show that either.

Is it just cause they want people to go buy their streaming service and therefor dont want to show the "good bits"?

I understand that when replays of the current match are shown its slowmo until the "hit" to avoid showing the botches or how its not as impactful as we are supposed to believe. I was looking forward to seeing the Boneyard match on my big screen TV but I couldnt handle the edit of it lol.
