What I mean by this is as fans why can’t we want all wrestling to be good. People criticize WWE your a smart fan, criticize AEW you are a WWE stooge. As wrestling fans why can’t we want the best from both companies. AEW showed great potential but there were of course notable flaws, just like WWE has its flaws. If we stop trying to make this about a war of companies and start realizing that fans now have even more awesome wrestling it’s only gonna make your experience better.

So here is my take on DON- The good- The card order- the card flowed perfectly and nothing in the ppv felt out of order. From opening to made event I didn’t feel like any matches were necessarily out of order. The matches- I had something to enjoy from pretty much every match and while they definitely were not perfect it was still full of quality. The crowd- this is what crowds need to be get into the match make every match feel important. People seem to forget that a great match can be killed by a crowd not caring. Think about how awful Hogan v Rock would be without a loud and rowdy crowd. The crowd cheering and not saying super overly snarky things is the right way.

The bad (needs to be improved as I don’t like to be blatantly negative) The camera cuts- everyone who watched it knew this issue so I won’t go on with what has already been said but this is something that I hope the production crew takes note of and fixes. I’m not too worried as I’m sure it’s a first time thing and stuff like this can be fixed. Nods at wwe- listen I know it’s funny and a good laugh but they need wwe fans to want to watch. It’s not a good idea to segment your audience see XFL here, just make yourself different without saying you are. Make them want to watch you for what you are not the company the likes to poke the bear while holding meat.
