It's AMA season on Wreddit, and we'll continue our Third Annual Road to Mania AMA series with Lucha Underground's writer and co-executive producer Chris DeJoseph. Alongside Eric Van Wagenen who joined us last year for an AMA, DeJoseph has been involved in writing and producing some of the most innovative wrestling television of all time.

ABOUT LUCHA UNDERGROUND

The series premiered with its first season on October 29, 2014, with the second season slated for January 27, 2016. The weekly television series airs in English on the El Rey Network and in Spanish on UniMás.

As many of you are aware, the series has been received quite well both by wrestling fans and wrestling critics. On IMDB, the first season received over 9 out of 10. John Moore of ProWrestling.net, praised the show for "knowing their identity and weaving together an amazing universe"

ABOUT CHRIS DeJOSEPH

Perhaps best known for his portrayal of 'Big Dick Johnson' on screen in the WWE, Chris has worked behind the scenes since the late 90s.

On IMDB he's credited as being a writer and/or producer for Sunday Night Heat, Smackdown!, and WWE's reincarnation of ECW. He's also credited for several WrestleManias and other WWE PPVs.

Since leaving the WWE, Chris has put his focus into making Lucha Underground one of the most compelling and innovative wrestling shows ever to air on television.

Recently, he's announced that fans can expect a DVD release of Lucha Underground's first season sometime in the near future.
