What I'm thinking, is that the US Title match takes place half way through the PPV, into which Crossfit Jesus does not retain.

It comes to the Main Event, and Rollins just looks like shit, Cena destroys him in his earlier match, and Sting comes out, and looks at him. And he just goes "You Deserve It". Confused, Rollins looks at Sting, preparing to fight, and Sting just lays down and takes the pin.

With Rollins retaining the Title, that's another big fuck you, to the Authority. The next night on Raw, Triple H comes out, and says "Because Sting just laid down for you, you're now going to have to defend your title every night on Raw, and on Smackdown, against anyone".

Enter Rollins face turn, somehow, I don't care. I want Crossfit Jesus to be my Jesus.
